  1. I've compiled agrep using GCC 2.3.3, Patchlevel 1, and the MiNT          
  2. libraries, version 30.                                                   
  3.                                      
  4. It compiled without any difficulties (well, there were a few compiler    
  5. warnings, but they don't appear to be a problem), and seems to work      
  6. fine.  A version I compiled using earlier library/compiler versions has  
  7. been doing a good job for me for the past couple of months.

  9. agrep is supposed to be FASTER than grep/egrep/fgrep, which is something 
  10. of a bonus, and does various things that they can't; notably             
  11. "approximate" searching, in which it matches strings with errors.
